9.00am Judging of Best Sheep Breed Society Stand and Best Indoor and Outdoor Trade Stands Competition.
9.00am Judging of Show of Pair of Ewe Hoggs in pens.
9.00am – 3.00pm Open & YFC Stockjudging Competition. Sheep Flanks 8
9.00am – 3.00pm Farm tour of Midfrearn on tractors and trailers.
9.00am – 5.00pm Commercial and Educational, Sheep Breed Societies and Individual Sheep Breeders trade stands open to the public.
9.00am – 5.00pm Farmers’ Market & Craft Fair trade stands open to public.
9.00am – 5.00pm Midfearn Hydroscheme Power/turbine building open to the public with talks
9.00am – 5.00pm Demonstrations – Agrimin bolus, Crook making, Prime lamb selection, Sheep dressing, Wool spinning, weaving, dying and felt making (Periodically throughout the day. Refer to what to see and do at the event for detailed information and any specific timings).
9.30am – 3.55pm Workshops within a dedicated area - Short sharp workshops presentation on various subjects. (See separate timetable for detailed information)
10.00am Official Opening and Presentation of NSA Silver Salver.
Introductions by Euan Campbell, NSA Highlandsheep 2025 Organising Committee Chairman, Welcome to Midfearn Farm by Jock Brooke, Address by Peter Myles, NSA Scotland Chairman, Official Opening by Joanie Whiteford, The Lord-Lieutenant of Ross and Cromarty & Presentation of NSA Scotland Silver Salver followed by presentation of best trade stand competition awards.

12.00 Noon – 12.25pm Address by Jim Fairlie MSP, Minister for Agriculture and Connectivity at Scottish Government.
12 Noon – 1.00pm SAYFC National Sheepdog Final.
12.Noon – 3.00pm Gizzen Briggs school band performing traditional Scottish music.
12.50 – 1.50pm Seminar - “Social Media, Farm Promotion and Diversification” (See separate timetable for more information on speakers).
2.00pm – 3.00pm Seminar - “Lamb – What the Market Needs” (See separate timetable for more information on speakers).
2.00pm Speed Shear Competitions – heats commence.
2.15pm – 3.00pm Farm to Fork - Cookery Demonstration
3.00pm - 3.45pm Farm to Fork - Butchery Demonstration
3.30pm – 3.50pm Presentation of Prizes - Next Generation Shepherd of The Year, Sheep Dog Trial and Stockjudging competitions.
4.00pm Sale of Pair of Ewe Hoggs by Dingwall & Highland Marts Ltd.
4.30pm Approximately Speed Shear Competitions (Semi-finals if required), Finals, followed by presentation of prizes.
5.00pm Event closes to public
